Updated dimensions not downloading to the client


Hi there,

We are experiencing a problem with BPC whereby the latest dimension members are not always downloading to the user's machine. This folder is typically the My Documents folder; which is on a network drive in Citrix. The issue is very evident on the Citrix servers, but I've also seen some cases which affected desktop PC users, too.

On a desktop PC, during the initial client installation we changed the local BPC folder (where the dimension files are stored) to a folder on the PC's hard drive - thereby avoiding the H:drive/My Documents and this user has not had any problems as outlined above.

As a further test, we've allowed other users to log onto BPC on my pc (successfully) and manually copied their files from my pc to their pc. This would also indicate that it is not a problem with BPC itself.

Does anyone know what may be causing this problem? To me it seems like a security issue, but it appears to be very random.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.
