Hi,

Is there anyway to refresh a service without restarting the servlet engine ? (Like in the landscape service)

I'm changing a service that I wrote and I want to deploy it into the portal without restarting the servlet engine...

please advise,

Thanks, Nir Marcu.

Hello Nir,

there is in EP50 and EP60 an Iview called system console. There you can see all services and release the one you like. After next invokation its loaded new.

In EP50 you have to care while redeploying. If you changed also properties there are not deleted after redeployment but kept (this is a wanted feature not a bug). So you have to delete the service first, before redeployment. (but normally this is not the case)

Hi,

I looked at the SupportTool component and it only displayed the status of the services, But this is not what i'm looking for. I want to redploy a service without restarting the servlet engine, Is it possible ? (I want to redploy the service during the day while users are using the portal)

Thanks, Nir Marcu.
