EP6 without Unification Server?

Hi,

As I understand from the EP 6 installation documentation the unification

server has to run on windows although the other components run happily

on solaris.

Since I don't see the immidiate need for Unification my question is:

May I install EP 6 without Unification that is only a Solaris?

Thanks,

Frerk

    Hi Frerk,

absolutely yes. Unification is an option and therefore you can run EP 6.0 without having to set up a unification server. As of now Unification is used as with the 5.0 version - thus windows is necessary to install the server.

    Hope that helps,
