Importing data to create pending transactions?

Hi all,

I apologize in advance if I use incorrect language, and if this question has been answered elsewhere I could not find it. My company just converted to SAP a couple of months ago and we're still building it out for our purposes. I work in customer service (we're a footwear company) and am trying to devise a new method for handling returns. Our current process is very paper-centric and likely unsustainable as we grow.

So my question is this: if we set up some sort of RMA system on our website, where the consumer puts in all their information including item returned, item desired in exchange, and their shipping info, is there a way to import this into SAP to create a pending transaction, to be reviewed and accepted or modified by customer service? I know we have the capability to import orders from dealers at the moment, so I don't see why this would be a problem. Any help or guidance to how this would work would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Ben

Hi,

Welcome you to the forum.

As for your question, RMA function is in the roadmap that will be available soon. Before that happen, you may import draft document as pending transactions.

Thanks,

Gordon
