QM Notification Through Email

Hi SAP Team,

I have a requirement, where I want that whenever a QM Notification is created, an email with Subject line of Notification, Purchase Order sgould go to the User. Is there some std. way of doing it i.e. without activating Workflow etc, as not much of the details are to be send in email. Kindly advise.

You have to go for some custom code to get the functionality you want - assuming you are not willing to use/trun on workflow. Find a user exit which triggers at qm01 ( I think your requirement is sending an email once q-note is created), maintain the users list in SAP distribution list (SBWP) and send an email with the required information.

I have done the same where client was not willing to turn on work flow. I can get you the correct user exit if you want.

Thanks for the response. My requirement will be whenever results recording happen and if there are some defects,so notification will b trigerred. The details like Insp lot, Purchase Order etc will go in email.May be I'll trigger the mail through User Exit for Results recording.Can you please provide the code for reference.
