Crystal Reports 2008 Dynamic Prompt

I am creating a prompt in Crystal and defining the prompt as Dynamic Prompt. I am selecting a Field from the table. I am not able to see in the list of values any of the values from the table. I am using Crystal Reports 2008. When I was using Crystal Reports XIR2 I never faced this issue. I am not using Business Views. I am trying to use Dynamic prompt and its acting like Static Prompt. In other words I am not able to get dynamic values from the table.
