SAP CRYSTAL REPORTS

To Whom It May Concern:

I am having major issues with getting my Crystal Reports XI to open. It is installed and the key is active but whenever I try and open I receive the following error messages:

CRYSTAL REPORTS HAS STOPPED WORKING "WINDOWS CAN CHECK ONLINE FOR A SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM"

If will not connect regardless if I try and find solution online. Our existing key code is

( removed keycode for security reasons )

I would really appreciate any help that I can get. I really need this product to work properly and for the past few months I have not had any luck accessing. If you are not the company or person I should be contacting can you please provide me with the support for Crystal Reports or Business Objects.

I truly appreciate any help or advice I can get at this point.

    To do this you navigate to where the .exe is located, right-click on it, and select "Troubleshoot Compatibility".

    Hi Lisa,

    Your keycode is still valid and I removed it so others could not use it.

    Download CR XI R2 from here:

    http://downloads.businessobjects.com/akdlm/crystalreports/crxir2_sp4_full_bld_0-20008684.exe
    http://downloads.businessobjects.com/akdlm/crystalreports/CRYSTALREPORTS06_0-20008684.EXE

    Use the same keycode to install it. If you are using the SDK packages for deployment you'll need to call CIC and ask for a new one.

    If not the one you have should work.

    Be aware though XI R2 is still 10 years old so it may not work on newer versions of Windows.

    See if that works, uninstall XI first. And reboot, then log in as a local PC Administrator.

    Also, depending on what version of Windows you're running, you may have to set crw.exe (or crw32.exe, I don't remember which it is) to run in Windows XP Compatibility Mode. To do this you navigate to where the .exe is located, right-click on it, and select "Troubleshoot Compatibility".
