Can someone tell me more about this tool that SAP is developing.  I am working on a project that used this tool for java iview creation but I haven't been able to find any documentation on it. I understand that it hasn't been released officially by SAP.

I dont know what a portal templater is.
In EP60 we have Portal Templates. Lots of configuration  and about 20 preconfigured iviews are offered on templates. You can also easily create your own template (like in MS Word the .dot) and save it as template.
