Hi,
we have deliveris which are transported from third party tool through IDOC.
I want to know for a particular document number what is the IDOC no.
how to find that?
Regards,
Anup
hi,
i understand you requriment but we have some limitations in WE09.
We will give
segment = e1EDL20
field = vbeln
for value = delivery number
no from and to - ranges
no date ranges.
it takes time for searching also.
copy this program RSEIDOC9. create a Z program and take the salection screen of WE09 and add what ever is not there in Standard screen.
Table for Control Record : EDIDC
Table for Data Records : EDID4
Table for Status Records : EDIDS
the above are the idoc tables which we will have to take into consideration.
hope this helps.

Hi SAnup,
Go to Vl02N/VL03N and drop your DO# and click on the Environment on teh tool bar and again click on the relationship browser to see the IDOC which created the DO.

Hi,
To speed up search through WE09 I suggest to input also:
- message type
- receiving partner
- idoc status (should be '53' if successfully posted)

Dear Anup,
From the delivery document - you can find the Incoming Idoc number which creates this delivery.
Goto Top left corner in VL02N/ Vl03N screen, you will observe the "tool bar" object. click on it & select "Relations", it will display the Process log.

Hello Anup,
If you are not able to see the ICON then you have an authorization issue, i don't remember object name, but that needs to be added to your user ID in t-code SU01 in parameter tab.
then i think you should be able to see the ICON " Services for Object" and in relation column you would see the IDOC #
Hope this helps.
Regards
Anup,
I just found this on the net.
If your services for Object button is missingu2026Here is the solution. This button is useful for tracing which IDOC created the sales Order.
Solution: If you set user profile/parameter SD_SWU_ACTIVE to X by going to SYSTEM-USERPRFOLE-OWNDATA the button will be available to you again.
