Second level Authentication

Is it possible in EP 6.0 to set up a page or iview that will again prompt for a username/password? This is after the initial authentication check when you log into the portal. We would like to place a second authentication check for certain pages and Iviews.

According to the documentation that should be possible, because you can define different login modules using different priorities which have to match or exceed the security level of the object. See "SAP Portal Security Guide" V. 1.3 on page 13 section about "Priority". Also read the section "Portal Permissions/Security Zones" in the Admin Guide 6.0 SP1 (page 404 of the PDF version).

In EP6 you can use multiple authschemes to solve the problem. However once you have re-authenticated at the higher level (the second time), you will not be prompted again during your session. The authschemes do not currently have individual validtity periods. They all use the same one that is configured for the ticket validity in the portal.
