How to trigger an event (Arrival at Customer) in TM (Freight Order) from ECC (Delivery)

Hello Guys,

I am new to EM to please pardon any incorrect terminologies or understanding.

We have a requirement that when we enter a date in the header->dates of delivery in ECC, an event, Arrive at Customer, should be triggered in TM (Freight Order->Execution tab).

The event Arrive at customer is already existing in the EM / TM system.

In the current system, we have a similar event GI which is working and we have been asked to replicate the same.

Based on this (after reverse engineering) we have done the following.

1. Created a new event type in ECC for Arrive at Customer

2. In the event extractor function, changed the event ID to "Arrival at Customer" which was already present. (this was the same what was done in GI)

3. In TM, no changes were supposed to be required as the event was already existing.

My understanding here is that in the event extractor in ECC, we have to change the Tracking code set to "TOR_TEC" and pass the tracking ID as Freight order number, and change the event ID to "Arrival at Customer".

This should trigger the appropriate event handler and the event in SAP TM.

The issue is the event GI is getting triggered but for Arrival at Customer I am getting the message "Message processing aborted. Not in list of allowed unexp. event codes"

Hi Sajid,

Message processing aborted. Not in list of allowed unexp. event codes"

indicates that event does not match to your Expected Event Profile. Check location in your Expected Event GI with the value you send with the Event Type.

Best regards,

Steffen
