Hello,

I am now configuring NWDI, but however, I can't find the following SCA files (7.01 SP6)

SAPBUILDT06_0-10005880.SCA

SAPJEE06_0-10005884.SCA

SAPJTECHS06_0-10005886.SCA

with source archive folder. And so I couldn't import them in my Tracker of NWDI.

Could you please help me?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Advyso,

these SCs are build plugins, which means they are necessary to build your software, but the sources are not delivered to them by SAP. If you download SCA files, you'll see that they can have 3 kind of folders inside:

- SOURCEARCHIVES - if you have this folder, it means the SC is meant to be modified by customers.

- BUILDARCHIVES - this is for building the software.

- DEPLOYARCHIVES - these archives will be also deployed on the target system.

Mentioning an example: SAP_BUILDT has only BUILDARCHIVES, i.e. it is necessary for building your own custom software (if you like these are kind of "libraries" only) and has no sources inside you can alter, and will not be deployed on the target system during the central nwdi deployment process.

Best Regards,

Ervin

Hi,

You can find/download these files (including their latest patches) from SAP Support Portal (SMP).

Software download -> Support Packages and Patches -> Entry by Application Group -> SAP NW & Complementary Products -> SAP NETWEAVER -> SAP EHP1 for SAP NETWEAVER 7.0 -> Entry by Component

then you should be able to find them under either AS Java or Development Infrastructure.

Hope it helps.

Hello,

Please check https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/JSTSG/%28NWDI%29%28CMS%29Problems-P0005

I think that you don't need the sources.
