Hi,

Is there a way to link to the Contract object (EKPO) but on header level not item level - using SAP standard functionality?

Kind regards,

Neil

Hi,

As per my suggestion you can try to do configuration with ArchiveLink & Object BUS2014(Purchase contract). you are able to attach document at Header level (Service for Object).

may be this will help you.

Thanks...

Hi Sam Ra,

Thanks for the response - I should have been clearer in my question.

I would like to use SAP DMS for the storage & management of the contract. What I should have asked is if anyone knows how to create the object link to the Contract (EKPO) Header - using standard SAP.

I am aware it can can done using BDS (ArchiveLink) - however I then lose the DMS functionality.

Kind regards,

Neil

Hi Neil,

First EKPO is a PO Item table in SAP. The header table you are refering to is EKKO.

Currently SAP does not provide standard object link screen to EKKO.

You can try the following Options:

First Option is,

In Customizing goto Control Data --> Maintain key fields

Here maintain the Table: EKKO, Transaction Code, Field Name.

You will be able to see the object Link then.

Here you may be required to create a Functional Module

**Check whether this works.

Second Option is,

You can develop the screen for the object link and then link it to you Document Type.

Third option is,

In the PO Screen goto the System in the Menu.

In that goto Services For Object.

Here you have facilty to attach the Document.

But this is not link to DMS.
