Hi Kedasu,

What do you mean by given documents?

If you mean in OVEP or VOV7, when I executed copying one item cat. to new item cat. did I make sure that all settings are the same; so the answer is yes.

If it is not what you mean, please make clear so I can fully understand.

Thank you very much.

Hi,

Unfortunately, the original item category (ZRRO) doesn't have any data with delivery type.

I am going to maintain OVLP but since I am all new to SD, I really got no clue with it , which delivery should I choose ...

Would appreciate any of your advices.

Thank you very much.

hi,

in VOV7 you can define your own item categories from copying the standard one.

in VOV4 you can assign it.

in the combination of sales doct + ICG + useage + Higher level IC = default item category

Please tell me if I need to do anything with delivery type i.e Delivery item category determination; OVLP - Deliveries: Item categories picking?

I did the same as you said above: VOV7 and VOV4.

But when I did outbound delivery:

I hit the error: Item category ZPS1 (which I just created recently) is not defined

and : Item category ZPS1 is not defined, so item 000010 will be disregarded.

I saw the Schedule line category in my sales order (which use Item cat. ZPS1) is CD so I changed it to CP, and changed configuration ZPS1 assigned to CP as well.

Please tell me what is going on?

Thank you very much.

Linh

hi,

in such case:

that means you have done for sales order item categorries.

if you want the same item category which is in sales order level then define OVLP copy the standard one and convert it to sales order item category.

then go to 0184 T.Code and assign accordingly and proceed for delviery creattion.

so this time it will not stop you.
