Dear experter
I have a question concerning the parameter "critical part" in material master (Purchasing view or work scheduling view).
- What is the point of critical part ? Is it concern a quality?
- Where is it impact ? Is it impact to quality management module ?
- What is the purpose to activate this parameter?
Best Regard

Hi,
The "Critical Part" can be flagged for very important materials, Basically it will not have impact any other module. It will be used only while doing "Inventory Sampling", otherwise you can use this field for the information purpose.
Check the F1 help
Indicator: Critical part
Specifies whether the material is a critical part, that is, a particularly important part.
Use
In inventory sampling, critical parts are included in the complete-count area. The indicator is otherwise for your information only.

GK.

Hi,
1) Critical part indicator is used for the material which is very important (material value or material importance in the manufacturing or nature of material.. etc..) and should not be avoided during inventory management.
2)This field is used for several customised reports based on the requirement (MARK_KZKRI).

BK
