Hi All,
I am loading the data from R/3 system to BW 3.5 system.
While loading i am receiving short dump so i make the reuest red and tried to delete it from ODS.
But i am not able to delete that request.
The same thing is happening in 3 other ODS.
Please provide any pointers.
Regards,
Ritesh
Did you look at the Short dump? Please check DB02 and see if there is enough space left to load or even perform deletion.
We get such errors due to table space as well as archive logs... checking the basis team will help

Hi Ritesh,
The problem is due to the Oracle database. The maximum number of extents of the table has been reached and hence the dump.
In order to avoid the dump, try to load the data based on selection criteria in info package. By doing this, instead of a extracting the entire data at once you can split the data into segments and bring to BI system.

It might be possible that the deletion job itself giving the short dump. Pleease check in ST22. If that is the case, then there is issue with tablespace. Ask the Basis person to help you on this.
If dletion job is not giving the dump, then check the error message in SM37 to see why the deletion job is failing. Action accordingly.
Thanks.
