Hi All,
we are going for BPC NW edge version 7.5, I just wanted to clear a few things..
1. is there a limitation on the number of applications like limited to 6 or 4
2. what are the other factors that i need to consider from functional point of view when going for this version
3. use of BO functionality
4. Will BI be having the same features (there is no plan of using BI)
thanks

Hi.
1. I already did a SAP BPC Edge NW proposition to a customer. I have information that the license policy is the same as for MS version and it is already available from the Q4 2010 to the partners and customers (there was the official letter from SAP).
2. I don't know about any limitations if not to take the license policy but you better call to your SAP local office and ask for details and specification to be 100% sure.
3.You can also use BOBJ Analytics with SAP BPC Edge NW and even Rapid Mart Edge (new).
4. SAP BPC Edge NW is installed on NW and it has BI included in it. You can leverage from BI (ETL, BEx and more).
Good luck!

I verified and at this stage BPC Edge is just for M version.
I don't have any information about when Edge version will be release also for NW.

Hi Rakshita,
Can you please precise from where did you download SAP 7.5 BOPC NW Edge version?
Thank you.
I know just about SAP 7.5 BOPC M Edge version where you have this limitation:
Installation just in one server not more than 6 applications, maximum 2 appsets.
From functionalities point of view Edge version has the same functionalities.
Just limitation regarding number of users, applications and appsets.
