Document type should not be transferred to GTS

Hi all,

how can I configure that a document type is not transferred to GTS. I found out that a document that we have not activated in the PlugIn is transferred to GTS anyway, although with no service like Compliance etc. But can´t GTS just ignore certain document typs?

    Hi Carsten,

That sounds like something that shouldn't happen. Which kind of document are we talking about - Sales Orders, Outbound Deliveries?

One tip: even if the Document Type is configured NOT to transfer, that decision may be over-ruled by code in the Control BAdI (for example, /SAPSLL/CTRL_SD0A_R3), so make sure that you haven't got bad code there.

    Regards,
    Dave

    Hi Dave,

thanks for your reply, that´s also a good advice. I started to investigate a little bit in the SAP notes and found

1460262 - KBA:Document type not checked on Initial transfer. This clears it up at least in my case. The problem was that I started the transfer manually with /SAPSLL/DS_D_SD0B_R3 and table /SAPSLL/V_TLER3B is only relevant in case of synchronous transfer.

    Kind regards,

    Carsten

    Hi Dave,

good advise as always, thank you. the BADI is not active so far in our system. I investigated also a little bit in the SAP notes and found KBA 1460262. So it seems, that in my case the problem was, that I transferred the document with tranx /SAPSLL/DS_D_SD0B_R3 and in this case GTS doesn´t check table /SAPSLL/V_TLER3B, only when transferred synchroniously.

That´s good to know I guess.

    Kind regards,

    Carsten
