One of our developers is attempting to set up Centralized monitoring via SNMP traps so as to use SSM as a monitoring tool for a proof-of-concept. There are a number of executables needed from sapserv according to OSS Note 585110. For AIX 5.1 (the intended platform) the following files are missing which are needed because they have all of the MIB definitions for SAP.
/general/misc/ccms-ma/snmp_traps/install_in_CEN/SAP_R3_MIB.txt
/general/misc/ccms-ma/snmp_traps/install_on_recipient_host/SAP_R3_MIB.txt
Also the note references sapxpg from Jan 2003 and that is what is available in the snmp_traps directory on sapserv but there are 2 later versions of sapxpg. Is it okay to use the later versions?
Any help or direction on where to locate these files, or a contact who could point to them, would be very helpful.
