Question:

Is there any BOBJ tool that supports input ready queries?

I mean can we use Xcelcius, WebI or something for manual input apart from BEx tools like BEx Analyzer or BEx web analyzer?

Hi.

Mainly, BOBJ is a set of reporting tools.

And as I know there is no write back functionality of BO.

Sure you can develope some features in XCELSIUS using FLEX.

Hi Kashif,

It is possible to write back to a BPC planning application using the new XCelsius integration with BPC (see EPM Connector).

Of course, you may not have BPC.

If you are stuck with BW-IP, then the best option for achieving an XCelsius style interface would be to use Visual Composer. Now, the new version of VC that comes with Composition Environment 7.2 is fantastic and has some tight integration with BW-IP.....but you'd have to check on the licensing of that and it certainly won't be on the BW Portal you are likely to have.

Other than that, I am not aware of any BOBJ tools with write-back capability.
