WWI preview doesn't show phrases

Hello,

I created a template as Report-Template (SBE).I used symbols of idetifiers, labels and symbols of value assignment with phrases.

My problem is that in the WWI preview all the symbols with phrases are not shown. Value assignments and even labels (which is just a reference to a phase!?)

The mysterious thing is, that if I chose at the preview a language where there is no phrase for in the catalog I get a error that there is no phrase created in this language (which is correct). But in the correct language the preview just show blanks.

I'm sure that the problem is in relation to the language but I cant find it.

Hello Gerhard,

There are two things to be considered here:

1. The preview for the languages for which you get the message "phrase does not exist in the specified language" - here the said phrase must not be maintained in the languages concerned. To confirm the same, please go to t-code CG12 and check the phrase item is maintained in what all languages.

2. If the phrase text is being maintained in the preview language and then the output comes blank - then you need to check the rating / validity area of the value assignment types (which may be phrase enabled characteristics in the property tree) vis-a-vis the rating / validity area of the generation variant. Also check what is the "usage" maintained in the generation variant; this has to be in concurrence with the validity areas maintained for the value assignment types. thanks for your answers.

I checked the generation variant and the value assignment. This is not the problem.

I figured it out. I don't know why but in the IMG activity Check and Specify Report Symbols there has been no values for the tables and attribute in the symbols of the type EHS_L_CODE, EHS_L_TEXT, etc.

So I set the default parameter e.g. for EHS_L_TEXT table: ESTPP and attribute: PHRTEXT

The preview now show the symbols

Has you checked the Rating/Validity of the Generation Variant?
