Hi,
For our WEBi reports in the public folders, we want a user group to have access to refresh the report and then save it with the new data (back to the public folder), but without access to edit the report (i.e. change formating, add graphs, add variables). Is this possible?
I have the access level set up at the moment so they can refresh the report, but the save button is hidden. I can activate the save button by granting access to the 'Edit objects' right, but this also gives them access to edit the report.
These users also have schedule access, but I'd also like them to have the access above.
We're on BO XI3.1 SP3 on top of BW 7.01 SP5.
Thanks for any help,
Nick
Many Thanks Stratos. I'll try it out on Monday and let you know.

Hi NECooper
- For the Webi/folder, give/allow EDIT rights to the User/Group
- For Webi Application, DENY the following rights for User/Group:
-- Enable Interactive HTML Viewing (if License Permits)
-- Enable Java Report Panel
-- Enable HTML Report Panel
Explicitly Grant:
-- Create Document
The above when implemented will fullfil the requirement.
Thanks
Deep
P.S.: I know the response is late and you may have already found this solution.

What you can do is to provide the Edit right and deny the individual functionality related rights of the WebI editor found under Application->Web Intelligence->Specific rights for Web Intelligence
