Component Storage location getting defaulted in production order

Hi,

I am creating a Producn order, in which there are 5 comp.

All the 5 comp. are getting defaulted with stor locn 2001. Whereas what is maintained in Material master is 5001.

But in the production order the Components are getting defaulted with 2001 Stor Locn.

How can i remove the default.

Note: No BADI's or any user exit are applied.

Is there a Supply Area defined in the work center ? Is Yes, the SLoc is taken from this Data.

If Not, check if there is a SLoc in each Bom Item , with Tx Cs02.....

Next choice comes from SLoc in Material Master and finally from production Version.

So, if you have a SLoc in material Master, check the Supply Area in Work Center or each Item in BoM.

Hi,

I think you assigned the 2001 storage location in the BOM, which is appearing in your production order, so delete the storage location from your BOM and add the storage location 5001 in BOM, so that the next production order will pick up the 5001 storage location.

Answers to your queries

There is a Supply Area Define in Work Center, but removing the same did not solve the problem.

No Stor Locn is maintained in CS02 Item level Details

No production version exists

Test creating a new produntion order....after you remove the supply area.

Dear Harris,

Check in BOM in item details you can get issue storage location

BOM has highest proirty then material master

So in your case in BOM it might be maintained
