Getting error when applying snote

Hi,

When iam applying SNOTE through transaction code : SNOTE--goto-upload snote-i gave the downloaded path of note after that when i click on enter iam getting error : Internal error: unable to find data block DESC at position 1.152.

Seems like the file is corrupted. You can download notes directly from SNOTE.

Hi,

I downloaded the snote from service.sap.com.

Then iam applying through snote--goto-upload SAP note - i gaven the path of downloaded note then iam getting error.

Hi,

Juan is talking about downloading using SNOTE (SAP Router) i.e.

SNOTE-->Goto -->Download SAP Note , provide SAP note number to download directly

SAP Router should be configured and in working condition.

Then it should work!

Hi,

Thansks for all,in my saprouter is expired becaus of that iam unable to coneect sap-oss.

Inspite of that i downloaded note manually and applying,snote--goto-upload note then iam getting error

You have not clearly mentioned what exactly you are uploading. But you need to download the corrections from the note then upload using SNOTE. You can't directly upload the note to SNOTE.

Using SNOTE if you upload SAP notes from your local machine/file system, most of the times you will get internal error (file corrupted during download/not in compatible format). So, better to download directly SAP notes using SNOTE tocde(Provided rfc SAPOSS connection is OK - your SAP system to SAP Marketplace).
