problems in goods receive t.code MIGO

Deal all,

I have tried to receipt goods in reference of a purchase order.When I have tried to click "Post" button,it is showing an error that is "For object RF_BELEG 111C, number range interval 50 does not exist FBN1".on the other hand,whenever I am tring to maintain number range for the "50",it is showing a error message that is "Enter intervals without overlap".Can anybody solve the problem...

in FBN1-

choose the change interval, select insert interval ( plus icon) , enter the interval range as 50 & in from column choose the number from drop down or press F4 & select, here system will give available numbers only.

So there will be no chance of number range overlap.

Dear MD,

there is no available free interval or number range.Because,it has already "50" number range with other year.I cannot change this year with current year.Can you solve this problem.

Dear RANA,

In your replies, there is solution. But i don think where you got stuck. Because FBNI where FI number ranges maintained which is always year dependant.

if there is record with 50 number range for previous year, you can always create another record for the same number range 50 with current year ,even if you wish wiht the same series also.

std system allows this.

Note: If the record already exist with the same number series, as said earlier, select from the drop down list. that is the only option to identify the available or Free to use number series.

Dear MD,

I have following number range "50000000000 to 50999999999" with 1992/1993/1999/2000/2004 year.But,when I have inserted new year that is "2010" with existing number range that is "50000000000 to 50999999999,it is showing an error message that is "Enter intervals without overlap".I cannot insert new interval.Can you solve this problem.

Goto Table:NRIV , enter this number range along with the object used in FBN1 & check the year:2010 exist with which number range interval. If its not in use , you can delete & insert 50 interval or if you dont wanna delete it, go for the different series.
