Hello,
since we use new comp. configuration editor, after a configuration is saved, not all entried for explicit component configuration can be deleted or moved.
Are there some reaseon for it or maybe is it an error in SAP?
In old comp. configuration editor we could delete all entries. If it is a desired state by SAP, i see it as a big problem, as it is normal that configuration entries can be updated.
thanks
Paul
Hello,
please let me know if only we have this problem.
SAP Documentation 1: "Deleting a node using Remove in the context menu.
This can be carried out as long as the correct cardinality of the node is ensured."
as i understand, for 1..1 and 1..* deletion is not possible, if last element exist.
SAP Documentation 2: "For multiple nodes, define the primary attribute values so that they can be recognised easily by the administrator and he can modify the correct data.
Deleting configuration data is only possible if the node has a primary attribute."
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/62/b9aacf64e641e2b25a2d0e2640d7a6/content.htm
Does it mean, that a primary attribute is obligatory in order to delete the nodes. In an old configuratin editor (component_configuration_old) this restriction was not implemented.
thanks
Paul
