Cannot transfer item from catalog to shopping cart

Hi,

We are experiencing an issue for multiple users but not all users. It seems to be a browser setting for the user's computer. We are running SRM 7.0 and MDM 3.0. A user successfully clicks "Shop" and a new browser window is opened. Then they click on one of our catalogs and successfully connect to the catalog within the same window that was originally popped up. When they try adding an item to the a shopping cart, by selecting the item and either clicking 'Add item' or clicking the shopping cart icon, a new browser window is popped up. The new browser window directs them back to the original 'Shop' screen that displays the catalog names (and links). The old popup window turns blank. And the item is never added to the shopping cart.

We believe that this issue is related to settings on the individuals computer because we can login to different computers with their username and do not experience the issue. We have tried resetting the user's browser to the original state and it is still not working. We have experienced this in Internet Explorer 7 and Internet Explorer 8.
