Hi EWM Guru,
I am looking for a solution to do automatically warehouse optimization for the floor stock that have same Product and Batch. for example:
Product XYZ with the same Batch available in these Bins
Bin A = 20 Pallets (Capacity Pallet is 30)
Bin B = 5 Pallets (Capacity Pallet is 30)
Current process, we do manual housekeeping with /SCWM/ADPROD from Bin B to Bin A with WPT 3030 so we can free up Bin B and optimize the Bin A with total 25 Pallets.
Please advise if there is a standard tools that we can used to solve this?
Best Regards,
Johan
Hi,
with EWM9.5 there is a feature to "Perform stock consolidation on partial quantities of products to create complete quantities, for example, building full pallets." Check here: https://help.sap.com/viewer/3d97bec9bf1649099384bb8167df3cf2/9.5.0.2/en-US/7ee9bfaf4bfd4b8cbbe805787.... Maybe something is possible using these BAdIs.

And it is EWM. NOT eWM - Duh!
And if your question includes the word "transfer order" - do NOT tag the question with Extended Warehouse Management!

Hello Juergen,
I was explaining the /SCWM/STOCK_CONS transaction to a customer. The transaction itself works fine, but the WHS tasks created from it and afterwards confirmed, are creating nested HU's, ie a multi level HU hierarchy. I expected it to combine the stock of the product/batch into 1 HU, ie the destination HU.
Any idea on the rootcause of this and how to fix it?
Thanks,
Bart
