PR to STO

Hi, My scenario

I have a Plant A with 3 storage location 1000 (Central Warehouse), 2000, 3000,

we using reorder point planing for each storage location.

1. we run CBP for each storage location - for storage location 1000 . A PR is created and convert to PO for external procurement .

2. for storage location 2000 and 3000 , we run reorder point and the stock need to be tranfer from central warehouse 1000. can I convert PR from MRP to STO for storage location transfer.??

do I need to maintain 2 document type (MRP PR) for MRP for this 2 different requirement?

How can I tag the document type generated for this 2 different requirement .??

a step by step guide will be helpful

Hi,

If we are doing "heavy" planning for 2000 and 3000, I'd suggest that you look into using MRP areas.

Then, using special procurement key, MRP will automatically create STO requisitions to transfer stocks from 1000.
