Master data load error

Hi,

I have added a new attribute to the info object 0employee.Mapped in the transformation with the source field.But when I am trying to load the data the DTP is not active.It is throwing error--Overlapping selection criteria with DTP DTP_ATZ.........

Do i need to create a new DTP.If so I am not able to delete the existing DTP because it is included in the process chain.

Please advise how to proceed in such situation..

Hi,

There should be a filter in your DTP.

Please check and remove

also remove the duplicate DTP and activate, If it doesnot ork. then activate the transformation once again and then activate the DTP.

It is suggesting that the filters you have placed in the DTP are overlapping... for testing purpose, just remove all the filters and see if it activates.. if it does then you have an issue with your filters, fill them correctly

Do we need to create a new DTP when a new field is added to the info object.

Can you also help to check if there is any other DTP for the same source and target?

If yes, the two cannot be delta... if one is a delta load, the other must be a full load type

Hi Hari,

Looks like you have created two Delta DTP's. But SAP will not allow you to create 2 Delta DTP's with same/overlapping filtering conditions. Though you dont have any filtering conditions defined, it is like both the DELTA DTP's are filtered without any conditions.

Make one of the DTP as Full & the other as Delta. Activate both the DTP's. Now you will be able to load the DTP's.
