I have one Infopackage which already exits in one main process chain that run once a day. But, now I want to run this infopackage 4 times a day. Does anybody know how to make it possible in this main process chain?
Are you using the native process chain scheduling? (Vs using Control-M to call the process chains)
1) I assume you can't remove the InfoPackage from the existing process chain and put it into a second chain that runs every 6 hours.
2) You can create 2 additional process chains. 1 that runs every 12 hours. And one that runs once a day. Then just set up the times so that these are 6 hours apart

Make a separate chain with only the infopackage and schedule it 3 times a day.
And let the main chain containing the infopackage run once a day.

Hi,
You can schedule like this,
Main chain :
Period : Daily
Time :00:00
New Chain
Keep 3 Schedule
Schedule 1:
Period :Daily
Time :06:00
Schedule 2:
Period :Daily
Time :12:00
Schedule 3:
Period :Daily
Time :18:00

HI,
create a new chain and include this infopackage only.
schedule your old chain only once and schedule this new chains 4 times in a day the way you want.
you may need to keep the dependency for the previous chain to be succesful .

Hi,
If i a have understood correctly, you just want to run the Infopackage (which is in the chain) 4 times a day.
If its only the Infopackage, you may not be able to do it in the same chain, as this would result in the whole chain getting executed 4 times.
You can create a new chain with the Start Variant & the Infopackage in it & schedule it to run as per your requirement.
Hope this helps.

Vishal.

u want to run the process chain 4 times or just the infopackage 4 times?
Process chain can be scheduled by difference of 6 hours thus 4 times in a day.
