Generate customer invoice

Hello. I'm using SAP to support my online web trade. My customers pay by credit card. I'm having difficulties generating invoice correctly. If I choose payment method c/card then the system wants to know all sorts of information about customer card but I don't have it and don't want to have it. So how do I mark on the invoice that amount has been paid? For bank transfers it's easy but for c/cards I can't figure out. Can I configure in Customer Master default method?

I have another question related: I tried to generate invoice but got error message 'Quantity falls into negative inventory'. Is it because I haven't done GR for the products I'm invoicing?

Hi,

'Quantity falls into negative inventory' states that the Item doesn't have quantity at the warehouse (which you are trying to book AR Invoice).

Hi,

As other fellow member said, SAP B1 requires values at certain mandatory fields for CC payment.

If you don't wish to enter those details, then you have two options

1. Either fill those mandatory fields with default (dummy) values, OR

2. Use Bank transfer or Cash payment means but change the GL account accordingly. (In this case, if you wish to differentiate the CC payments you may use the GL account else you can an UDF)

Thank you for your comments. Can you please let me know which G/L account should customer payments go to? In that case I can set user defined values for say cash payment or bank transfer with a pre-defined G/L account, and use those values each time I generate invoice. Hi,

When you choose card payment means then certain field are mandatory , instead each time entry you can set user defined values so it will allow user to choose.
