I canu00B4t see materials in the catalog

Hello all I am working with SRM 7.0, Catalog MDM 3.0

Please can you help me with materials and vendors replication?

I have all role in my user in MDM Console and from SRM system I replicate materials and vendors using BBP_CCM_TRANSFER and ROS_SUPPLIER_SEND_TO_CATALOG transaction and program.

All is in green when I executed them and if I checked sxmb_moni I can see message in succesfull but when I go to catalog, I can´t see any material.

What can I do?

Hi,

Please go to OS level and look at Import Server folders. You see something like ready, exception folders.

I think PI transfered the file to Import Server but some error occured like mapping error.

If you can not find any files in Import Server directory that means PI communication chancel is not configured.

Hello Masa, technical colleagues told me that file is in the folder. But I can´t see any data in the catalog. I have same problem with materials and vendors.

I run reports and all appears as OK in XI and SRM, but I can´t see anything in the catalog link.

I checked MDM Console logs and appears this errors:

Server logon failed, Invalid password (RC 0xFFAA0202)

Unable to find specified user: ex32919

What can be happened?

I am not sure if I am doing well procedure:

1) I run BBP_CCM_TRANSFER report in SRM

2) I select a product category

3) I checked Force Initial Transport and execute.

All messages appears as OK.

29.11.2010 11:47:07: Initial transfer for catalog SRM_EXTRACTED_CTLG

29.11.2010 11:47:09: Determine category 1.1.10 (4 products)

29.11.2010 11:47:16: Start of catalog transfer for 1

29.11.2010 11:47:16: catalog transfer ended

Then, I have to go to Data Manager and select Catalog items and see the materials not?

What can I do?

Hi,

It looks like data import was failed in Import Server.

Please ask your system admin to check which folder the file exist and get the file copy.

There is error information in the file.

Hello Masa, system admin sent me the files.

We have Inbound folder from Import Server, there we have several folders:

100

ERP

SRM

In SRM folder we have these new subfolders:

MDMContractDataTransmissionProductCategory

MDMContractDataTransmissionProductID

MDMContractDataTransmissionSupplierPartNumber

_MDMProductDataTransmission

_MDMServiceTransmission

MDMServiceTransmissionMSS_Item

MDMServiceTransmissionMSS_Item_Price

MDMServiceTransmissionNonHrcItem

MDMServiceTransmissionPrice

_MDMSupplierListTransmission

LT_Currencies

LT_ProductGroups

LT_UOM_ISO_Code

If I checked LT_ProductGroups for example, I have a file in Archive folder with all product groups. But If I checked _MDMSupplierListTransmission or _MDMProductDataTransmission I can see files only in the first folder, not in Archive, Exception, Log, Ready or Status, I can see files .dat in main folder _MDMSupplierListTransmission

What can I do?

Hello Masa, now I imported all vendors via Import Manager. Is necessary to do it always? When I run program to import vendors, this is not automatic?

I can see now vendors in data manager but not in the SRM catalog link

Hi,

What is the exact folder name for "the first folder"?

Please also check the Import Server process is up and running.

Hello Masa, system admin told me that all is OK now with the folders but we had to do match fields and import materials and vendors manually via Import Manager.

We run BBP_CCM_TRANSFER transaction and ROS_SUPPLIER_SEND_TO_CATALOG report.

Then we checked Archive folder for each process and we have .XML file there

With these files, we go to Import Manager, automap all files and import materials and vendors manually

This is if I want to use manually process but this would be automatic.

I checked ports in MDM Console and all appears as automatic

How can check if there is some problems in the Import Manager automatic replication?

Hi Rosa.

After executing the transaction, did you check the datamanager if it has the materials which is replicated from SRM.

If it is available in datamanager and not in catalog then check the authorizations if the user has enough rights to view all the items.

Hello, where can I see that in the data manager. I can see product groups, currencies and other fields but materials not I think...

Hi Rosa.

Check step by step from R/3 to MDM where it fails.

1. Check in R/3 if the report executed successfully. check the SXMB_MONI if the data is pushed to MDM

2. Check if XI is configured correctly.

3. As mentioned by Masa, check in MDM import ready folders if you find the file. Or check the exception folders if there is any structural or value exception has been raised which means possiblity of mapping issue/value is not correct or not in correct format.
