yes you can. but you need to build your own data model in MDM. standard contents are available for Customer, Vendor, material, Product, employee, BP. You can extend this models to make it industry specific.

Which Object you are talking about??

Cheers,

Rajesh

Hi Rajesh,

I am talking about the Master data in the IS- Oil & Gas Solution for example the "Well" Master Data. In my case, this is an altogether new object unlike the other Business Suite Objects like Material, Customer, Vendor etc.

Is it possible to model NEW ENTITIES within the MDG?

Arvind

Hi Arvind,

yes, that is possible. You can model any custom object you like in MDG. EhP5 release supports financials, materials and suppliers out of the box. EhP6 release will most probably add the customer object.

Best regards

Michael

You can extend the data models in MDG.
