Why does appear a blank record in Extended Value Selector(EVS)?

Hi everyone,

i have a dropdownlist with 54 records, when this number is >50, in the screen appears un EVS, but the first line is a blank record, y the EVS records number is 55 and no 54. (See image below).

How can i do to delete the record blank??
