Problem in UD through t.code QA32

Hi,

When we are doing UD through transaction QA32, there is a problem showing in UserStatus - NOID and system status is LTIN STIC SPST.

If UD would be successfully, then No UserStatus should be there and system status would be LTIN STIC SPCO STUP.

According to my observations, i found few things like..

1...Under Insp. lot quantities tab, Posting field should be blank when UD would successfully, but there is posting qty. is showing..

2...In Status Details, under Status tab..SPCO - Stock posting completed & STUP - Statistics updated text is there for successful UD .. But here, SPST - Stock posting started text showing inplace of SPCO - Stock posting completed and STUP - Statistics updated text not showing there...

What should be problem here??

SPST is observed when you partial post the Qty while doing stock posting.(this status is independent of the UD taken or UD not taken )

When you completely post the Qty you get SPCO .

It means we don;t post the Complete Qty. during stock posting, so SPST status is showing.

Please let me know, how can we solve this issue...

Well You have to post the complete lot.....................to get the status SPCO & UD must be mase for status UD

Use qa12 and click on the stock posting tab. Once on the tab, enter in the remaining amount to be posted. Save.

When we insert Inspection Lot - 10000680371 in transaction QA12 and hit enter, system shows an popup with error message - The function you selected cannot be carried out: with following buttons:

Detailed Info

Status Display

Cancel

When we click on Detailed Info, there shows 2 messages -

Influencing system status

UD - Usage decision has been made (with Green symbol)

Influencing system status

NOID - Material not identified (with Red symbol)

*******************************************************************

When we click on Status Display, shows like this:

System Status

SPST Stock posting started (last one)

and in Status with Status No. following are there:

NOID Material not identified

CMAT Material is correct

IMAT Material is incorrect

Now how can i post the remaining qty.

please guide...

I believe the problem is with your custom user statuses. NOID is not an SAP status. You'll have to edit your status profile and remove whatever influences are blocking the business process "change UD". Transport the config change to production and make the changes. Once corrected, back out the transport if you want to revert back to the original profile.

You should reevaluate your system statuses before reapplying them after fixing your lot. You want to make sure you always have somebody who can go in and change a UD regardless of the status settings.

In Status Profile - QM_L_001 (Inspection lot profile 1) value showing.

But how can we change it due to non-changeable mode..

In normal cases or successfully posted in QA32, this field Status Profile will be BLANK. But in this case, this value is inserted.

1) Change the user status value of the inspection lot in transaction QA02.

You can change the user status value from 'NOID' to 'CMAT' using status detail icon.

Save the inspection lot.

2) Post to unrestricted stock for remaining insp. stock in transaction QA12.

After changing user status, you can access usage decision and stock posting for the inspection lot.

3) Check where status profile 'QM_L_001' is assigned in configuration or q.info.record.

- Customizing > Quality Management > Quality Inspection > Inspection Lot Creation > Maintain Inspection Types

You can find status profile field on inspection type detail screen.

- Transaction QI03

Input material, vendor, plant and check status profile.

It sounds like you haven't seen this status before. So someone probably added it to the lot. You can add a status profile to a lot in the UD transaction if you want.

Since you can't access the UD due to the status now, I don't think you much choice except to remove it from config. If you are in a large system used by multiple divisions or businesses, you will need to find out if the status profile is used some where else in another group. You might harm their processes by removing it.
