Hi Raju,
Yes, it should be possible to upgrade your system UI5 Version to 1.48.20.
However version 1.48 is out of maintenence so it would be recommended to upgrade to version 1.52 which is going to be maintained till Q4/2020.
Just check and update your SAP_GWFND and SAP_UI component as per your requirement.
Gateway SAP_UI UI5 Version

Hi Vaibhav Maheshwari ,
Thank you for your quick response.
Sorry Vaibhav , Actually SAPUI5 current version is 1.48.20 and we are additionally developing some based on client requirement on SAPUI5 on 1.62.1 version. After developed , we need to deploy 1.62.1 version on 1.48.20. If deploy is there any problems because here SAPUI5 libraries are not matched right ? 1.48.20 libraries & 1.62.1 libraries are different right? what we can do.
Note: SAPUI5 - 1.48.20 ( Server current version ) to SAPUI5 -1.62.1 ( one requirement is developing on this version )
hank you
RAJU
Hi Raju,
There should not be any problem in deployment but if you are trying to use a new feature/control which is not available in version 1.48 but is available in version 1.62, it will not work as expected.
I am not sure why there is a a client requirement to develop something on 1.62 when the system version is not upgraded yet to that version.
Another point to note is that version 1.62 is only available on cloud, so if your portal/launchpad is on cloud, then it should be fine for you to use version 1.62 but if you are planning to deploy on gateway system. then the latest SAP UI5 version available is 1.60 (1811b).
Thanks,
Vaibhav
