Can R3 / 4.7 create web dynpro application in ABAP workbench?

Can R3 / 4.7 create web dynpro application in ABAP workbench (SE80)?

or if I should install other component in R3?

I am beginner in sap.

Hi,

this is impossible.

Webdynpro ABAP is available as from ECC6.0 SP10 if I'm not mistaken.

Not techincally correct. Web Dynpro ABAP is availble in the SAP_BASIS software component since release 7.0 SP0. Therefore it is in ECC 6.0, but since SP0 as well.

To the core of the original question, you are correct. There is no Web Dynpro ABAP in R/3 Enterprise 4.7, nor can you install anything directly into 4.7 to deliver Web Dynpro ABAP. You could, however, build another ABAP Instance (completely separate SID and database instance) running on NetWeaver 7.0 or higher. You could then do Web Dynpro ABAP development from this "side car" ABAP instance and comsume and interacte with data and logic from your 4.7 system via RFC.
