Inputting Shipping date in PO Confirmation from Supplier

Hi,

Presently Supplier is entering Delievery date in "To Be Confirmed" tab(Shipping Date field in "To beConfirmed" is greyed out) .Based on the Transportation time maintaned in Transportaion lane system is calculating Shipping Date.

Now we want system to enter the Shipping Date in To Be Confirmed tab instead of Delievry Date .

Please let me know whether this is possible.

Hi Raghav

It is possible to enter manually the shipping date and the same will be reflected after saving, provided you dont maintain any transportation duration in transportation lane between your supplier and customer.

What i wonder is, why do you want to change this behaviour, if the means of transport and route is same ! , the duration also remains same.

Do you repeatedly change the means of transport? and does the overall transportation duration affect

Sorry for late reply....

We want Supplier to enter Shipping Date ion the Purchase Order Worklist so that system system will calculate Delivery date based on Transportation lane.

I tried your way by removing transportation duration but even then system is allowing to enter only Delivery date.

Shipping date field in Greyed out.

Hi Raghavendra,

If you want Supplier to enter Shipping Date on the Purchase Order Worklist so that system system will calculate Delivery date based on Transportation lane then you have make following setting:

Go to SPRO>SAP - Implementation Guide>Supply Network Collaboration>Delivery>Due Quantity Calculation

and maintain D/T Due Qty(Conf.) field as Shipping Date/time.

After above setting it will allow supplier to enter Shipping Date on the Purchase Order Worklist.
