Hello Team,
We are currently working for a customer where in they have SAP BI (BOBJ and Lumira) reports and wanted to reuse the same. I guess we can generate publicly accessible URL links for certain developed reports and can be just called in browser or any SAP Products like SAP C4C Tiles via URL.
1. Is not not possible to have publicly accessible report links?
2. Which all BI reports can be used via URL?
3. Does SAP BI app have a URL to be launched from IE/Chrome browser?
Looking forward for your help. I am not an SAP BI Consultant but need your help to Go Live the project.
Regards,
Rupesh
There is nothing "magical" about an external URL, as far as BO is concerned. If a web server is visible from outside of the firewall then it can be used to expose BO.

You should start with Administrators guide, found on https://help.sap.com/viewer/product/SAP_BUSINESSOBJECTS_BUSINESS_INTELLIGENCE_PLATFORM/4.2.7/en-US
It explains the terms and product usage.
In general :
1. Is not not possible to have publicly accessible report links?
Yes, it is possible. This is basic functionality of the product and networking.
2. Which all BI reports can be used via URL?
Any or all reports can be accesed via URL ( look up OpenDocument)
3. Does SAP BI app have a URL to be launched from IE/Chrome browser?
Yes it does have it. See product documentation.

Hello Denis,
Thanks for your answers!
I know this would be dumb question but the URL reports should as well launch in android/mobile phones, right? when the URL is clicked from mobile phone?
I heard from our customer that in Product Availability Matrix SAP BI reports are not supported for mobile phones and especially in android:)

Rupesh
