remiattance via email than by sending paper statements



We have a requirement that the company want to change the paper remittance to email or fax.

I tried to read through sdn with information in different threads, but I could not come to a conclusion how to go forward and complete this requirement.

Can any one guide me the basic steps i need to check and following steps I need to check for setting up remittance via email or fax instead of paper....
