Hi,
How to Hide/Unhide sub-facets in standard work center in C4C based on user profile and role. Ex: In opportunity, there are set of sub-facets (standard and custom) like Overview, Sales...... Custom1....

Self fixed.
Create a Role condition with the business roles function in script coding at browser level.

hi Chandra,
Not sure if this helps but you can also look at Administrator -->Generel settings--> User -->Organize Work Centers and Work Center Views
This would help in organizing the workcenters and views

Hello Chandra,
you can use a pagelayout to hide a certain set of facets e.g. within the opportunity.
Therefore, use the adaptation mode and create a page layout. Here you hide the relevant facets.
This page layout has to be assigned to the relevant business role, which the users have, who should not see the hidden facets.
Hope that answers your questions. If you need more details, please let me know.

Hi stefanieehlert,
I tried to achieve that a page layout has 3 fields more visible than the master layout. So to hide 3 fields in master layout and make them visible in a certain page layout. But it doesn't work. If I uncheck the checkbox visible in the master layout, I have no chance to make it visible in page layout,... thats I pity.
Does I miss something, or is this not possible with page layouts?
KR Deborah
Hi deborah.albrecht2,
you can only do it the other way around - the master layout will always include more fields and facets that the page layout.
So you have to make the field visible in master layout and hide the field in pagelayout.
The pagelayout should be than assigned to the relevant business role of the user.
Moreover, you have the possibility, to use UI Rules to make a certain field / facet visible under specific conditions. E.g. field is only visible for users with a certain business role or because another field is filled with a specific value.
If you have trouble, please give me some more details about what you want to make visible for whom / when. And than I can give a a more specific proposal.
Thanks.

Hi stefanieehlert,
thanks for the quick response. Then I just remembered it wrong, I thought to hide fields in master layout should be as well possible. However, I implemented the requirement yesterday with a UI rule (visibility). I liked this solution more, that using a page layout for everybody due to 3 fields difference....
Again, thanks for your help.
Best regards
Debo
