To be precise, additions are fine! The total number was changed yesterday to some incorrect value...
vadim.kalinin That's what I meant, i.e. this single large change/addition was in error and is being addressed.
The karma points are now fixed for me. Points are back to normal.

False issue announcement! The value is a result of addition of old SCN points to new karma points. Not sure that it's a correct idea (the calculation logic was different), but at least the number is explained.

P.S. - may be you profile is not synchronized for a moment!
Yes, likely this is the case, I still see a significantly lower number in the profile.
