Hi,

When i am trying to do asset write up with transaction type 700, i am getting an error, asset that are not managed with postable values. Can any one help me how to solve this?

Asset has got negative balance to it. Depreciation is more than net book values of the asset. so get positive value of the asset i am trying to do asset writeup. but it is throwing above error.

Many Thanks,

jks

Hi,

Which error message have you got?

For your information, a write up can only be carried out if you have cumulated depreciation values (from previous years). In the current fiscal year depreciation should be posted the 'normal' way. Write ups mean that too much depreciation was posted in a previous year and that you will correct this in the current year. Therefore, the system does not allow posting write ups if there exist no cumulative depreciation values from previous year.

-> Please check if there is accumulated depreciations from previous

years for the concerned asset and dep. area.

Hi,

If you only want to reverse the manual depreciation transaction in this year, you can use transaction AB08 to reverse it.

You will receive during AB08 Error AAPO011, this is just a warning message ,informing us that there has not been any kind of FI document posted (Note 1171251)
