Hello experts,

I am facing a problem with the export to excel functionality in CRM 5.2 in IC WebUI framework. When we click on the export to excel button in the result list, the microsoft excel application is started but a pop-up appears in it saying 'Could not open <URL generated>'. After this, the control is redirected to the pop-up for opening the file in CSV format.

What I have understood is this is due to some firewall issue, Also, there is method gDO and gDA for opening the file in excel and then if it does not open the method used is csv.

The client wants to directly open the file as CSV file than in excel format rather than rectifying the firewall error.

Please correct me if wrong. Also I would like to know how can file be directly opened as csv.
