NAVEEN
Hi
DSO can perform both Overwrite as well as Addition Updates.
The DSO Key Values determine the Info objects on which the Overwrite or addition has to be done.
Say for eg.
0customer is the key and 0QTY and 0amount are the data values. then we you are loading the following records
C001 20 200.00
C002 10 100.00
C001 10 100.00
C003 5 50.00
C001 5 50.00
will be updated in the DSO as
C001 35 350.00
c002 10 100.00
C003 5 50.00
iN THE ABOVE CASE, THE UPDATE TYPE WAS 'ADDITION'
If it is Overwrite then the last records that is updated in the DSO takes precedence and it overwrite all other Key figures for the particular Key value.
ie you will have in the DSO the following records
C001 5 50.00
C002 10 100.00
C003 5 50.00
hope your doubt is clear.
Cheers
Umesh
