Discount error for cutomer hieararchy

I have set up cutomer hieararchy A with partner function 1A. Then setup partner determination for account grp 0001 (Dow chem as main customer). Created Z001/z002 account group by copying 0001 as Dow branches at two different places in the same country. I have assigned Hirearchy node as 1 in main Dow customer master in Marketing Tab of General data. Also check box Pricing dtermination in Billing Tab for customer 3

Same way for branch offices I have check box as Hirearchy assignment 1 & price determination check box for both branch offices cutomer 88 & 89 (Hope hirearchy 1 assigned to both branches are correct)

Assigned account group A/0001/Hiegher LevelCt Grp 0001

AAssigned Act Grp A/z001/0001, A/Z002/0001

Then assigned sales area as A/4001/01/12 to Hgh Lev Sales Org 4001/01/12

Assigned Sales order type OR to A

In pricing I maintained VK11 HI01 discounts with proper validity dates for customer 3 Main 10% customer Branch Off 88 & 89 as 8% and 5% discounts respectively.

In pricing procedure HI01 condition type is maintained with ERS account key. When created sales order HI01 is not appearing.

Pricing analysis shows error in HI01 Accesss=Customer, Message Customer Hirearchy01 Description !

Technical view is showing as A065-HEINR Msg KOMK-HEINR01

When I checked table 64 (as per access sequence) it shows everything OK with Technical View Customer as

Validy Check box; Release status checkbox blank, customer >Key checkbox, Customer >Footer Fld Checkbox ok, Customer-->Textfield radio button, Field name HIENR Data Element=KUNNR_KH Domain Name KUNNR

So why in pricing HI01 condition is not being shown & error? Also note that if I put manual HI01 it is accepting.

Is it due to Manual condition has priority in condition type? Should I change settings to Automatic?

What is desired in customer hieararchy?

Experts may please advise. appreciate for yr help soon.

My problem is resolved. I had to give account group 0012 as main customer office & assigned to branch offices account group 0001 or copy this as Z001 in VDH1N

    Another imp point is IMG/Sales & Dist/Business Partners/Custome/Customer Hierarchy-->Assign Group

Assigned 0001 to Heigher level act. grp. 0012

    Asssigned 0012 to 0012

Rest settings are normal & not tricky.

I could resove my issues next day after proper rechecking & analysis. This thread is closed now.....

This will help others so I am writing this solution. THX

    Hi Rajeev

i am facing the same problem in pricing procedure hi01 condition is not appearing. It is not even showing an error.

    I have done the following:

    1. created my own hierarchy type '0'

    2. my own account groups 6666 (hierarchy a/c gp) and 6000 (customer account group)

    3. created higher level node in v-12 -

    numbered 23

    4. created lower level node in v-12 --- numbered 48

    5. created customer 20 in xd01

    6. mentioned hierarchy level 02 in xd02 in marketing tab for node 23 and level 01 for node 48

    7. in node 23 partner function is 1b, in node 22 partner function is 1a and for customer 20 only sp, sh, bp, py partner functions are mentioned. (please advise if this is correct as this is a 3 level hierarchy)

    8. in vdh1n -

23 is the highest level and its lower level node is 48 and finally customer 20 is assigned to node 48.

    9. have assigned account groups as -

0 (customer hierarchy type) to 6000 (account group) to 6666 (higher level acc. group)

    again -

    0 to 6666 to 6666

    10. have assigned sales area to the same sales area (i'm using only one sales area)

    11. maintained vk11 for hi01

    12. in pricing analysis the following is missing:

    customer (access ) --- customer hierarchy 01 (message) -

    ! (description)

Seems as if i have not maintained this ' customer hierarchy 01' field somewhere.

    appreciate your help.
