The MES uses "Containers" and "HU is in SAP ECC" (and EWM). We don't use EWM.
Question: when we have the "Container" in MES and HU in ECC, there is a concern if they would be in sync, so that we don't keep reconciling the Pallet Data between the systems. ? Redundancy in DATA ?
My understanding is MES is more shop based one and it needs to pass the "Pallet Data" to ECC to create HU in ECC that is used in the logistical process and traceability down the line. (if there is recall/quality issues and pallet issues).
We need to have both "Container" (in MES) and HU (in SAP) to have a end-to-end visibility.? Right
If so how do we keep them in sync..?
