Checking cluster tables with R3check

Hello,

1) We are doing unicode conversion on our current ECC5 MDMP system with SP level 21.

We ran UMG_R3CHECK_FILES to check cluster tables and we referred Note 89384 - Checking cluster tables with R3check.

But we are not sure what to do on OS level (AIX) since R3check <controlfile> > <outputfile> command is incomplete .

Can you please guide us the steps for cluster table check with R3check.

2) Is there any note implementation to include the program sdbi_cluster_check in my current version ECC5 SP 21..

Thanks for the suggestion

Regards

Vinay

Hi Vinay,

1) I am not sure why you think that the info in SAP note 89384 is incomplete ?

2) Please have a look at SAP note 1077403:

Excerpt:

This current report version is available directly in the Support

Packages specified in this note. Alternatively, you can use

transaction SNOTE to implement the version for Basis Release 6.20

and higher.

Hi,

No i was not sure with the steps with R3check. So i applied Note 1077403 - Cluster table check using SDBI_CLUSTER_CHECK.

and ran SDBI_CLUSTER_CHECK.
