How do i get AutoScale for Charts in WebIntelligence ?

Hi all,

My organisation recently got Business Objects XI 3.1 and i am building some solutions using Web Intelligence.

I had two questions on charts which i have searched for a lot but not found any answers.

1) How do i enable Auto Scale for the Y Axis ? I do not see any option in properties ? Is it a non available feature ?

2) How do i make the data lable in X Axis vertically oriented ? Again i do no see any options in the chart properties.

go to properties

click Appearance

click Y Axis

click Scale, and click Auto Scale

Thank you for responding. I do not see the AutoScale option at all.

I see the following options under

Appearance:

->Y Axis

-->Scale

-

---

>Min. Value

-

---

>Max. Value

-

---

>Logarithmic

I am using Web Intelligence Rich Client version 12.1.0

The Y axis auto scales by default unless you over-ride by specifying a min / max value.

How do i make the data lable in X Axis vertically oriented ? Again i do no see any options in the chart properties.

There is no direct way to do this. You could try to 'force' your data to be 'longer' but this doesn't work very well.
